Mission and Objectives
UN Plus is a global group of United Nations staff who are living with HIV. Established in March 2005, UN Plus demonstrates UN reform in action with over 200 members, derived from a cross-section of UN agencies and associated programmes.
Uniting for Solidarity, equality and acceptance for people living with HIV within the UN system through awareness raising, policy change and advocacy.
To create an enabling environment for all HIV positive staff members irrespective of the level of disclosure of their HIV status.
To be the effective and organized voice for people living with HIV within the UN system.
To advocate for the strengthening of existing policies and/or development of additional policies on or relating to HIV within the UN system.
To monitor the effective implementation of policies on or relating to HIV by the UN system.
